Typically specified at VR7 (B6+), the platform extends to the highest civilian classifications — including floor protection rated against two DM51 hand grenades.
ENGINEERED AS A SINGLE STRUCTURE
Every G-Class (Armored) is converted as one certified whole — ballistic materials, reinforced structure and glazing engineered together, then tested as a complete system.
Available from VR4 through the highest civilian classifications, with protection against 7.62 × 51, 5.56 × 45 and M80 ball ammunition.
Reinforced underbody protection certified against two DM51 hand grenades detonated beneath the passenger cell.
Ballistic steel around the occupant area, composite reinforcement where required and multi-layered glazing on every window.
Capability retained in full
Protection is engineered around the G-Class ladder frame and three differential locks, so nothing of its original capability is lost.

Multi-siren and public-address systems, anti-sabotage exhaust protection and LED strobes are available and entirely concealed.
Reinforced run-flat inserts allow continued progress at speed after tyre damage, ensuring the vehicle can always reach a safe location.
Protected exhaust, battery, fuel system and radiator, together with locking fuel and bonnet provisions, guard the vehicle while unattended.
Discreet LED strobes, siren and public-address systems, intercom and emergency communication packages are available and invisible when not in use.
